Display and Design

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 256GB features a 5.99-inch Full HD Infinity display with a pixel density of 403 ppi. The display gets better than the previous generation model with an 18:9 screen ratio. The slightly curved edges add a stylish look to it. The handset has a complete ceramic body and a widescreen with 12% reduced bottom bezel on top and on the sides. It is 11.5% lighter and 11.9% slimmer than the previous generation model. The ceramic back is mated to an aluminium frame which also houses the fingerprint sensor. The smartphone weighs 185 grams.

Configuration and OS

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 MSM8998 64-bit octa-core processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. It runs on Android v7.1.Nougat-based MIUI custom UI. The handset features proximity sensors such as accelerometer, barometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, digital compass, and ultrasonic proximity sensor.

Battery, Storage and Connectivity

The smartphone derives power through a non-removable 3,400mAh Li-ion battery with Quick Charge 3.0. It comes with a  256GB of internal storage which is non-expandable. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac and USB Type-C.
